Most Anticipated METAL Releases of 2009- What Are You Looking Forward To?

Since we're looking back on the best of '08, why not look forward a bit as well? 2009 is setting up to be a brutal year for metal records, with SLAYER, NAPALM DEATH, SEPULTURA and LAMB OF GOD all bringing forth new music, just to name a few. Sooo, what are you waiting for?

As far as I'm concerned- the new Lamb of God- "Wrath" which is set to drop on February 24th via Roadrunner is what I'm most giddy over.

Slayer, Anthrax's Worship Music is said to be hitting the shelves in May.

I can't really say what I am looking forward too as I am always listening to new stuff that comes in to the station. When I look forward to something it usually disappointments me :( It's theno namers that come out of nowhere that shock the hell out of me and make me giddy lol

Have you heard the track "Contractor?" This is metal in its most pure form. The speed, the breakdowns, the fluidity of brutality and the precision of their musicianship have left me begging for more. I can't wait til February 24th.

However, nearly tied for anticipation is "Evisceration Plague" by Cannibal Corpse. Feb 3rd. All I know is these guys better fucking come to my neck of the woods, considering they originate from here.

"Contractor" is off the chain- (to use an over-used cliche.)
"Set to Fail" the opening track is A-MAZE-ING. some tweaking in the vocals, but man, does it shred.
Just wait- this record is going to melt faces and shatter eardrums worldwide.
