Believers In The Power of Metal

We are getting ready for another year of BITPOM events and panels. What kind of topics would you like to see covered? Who would you like to see speak? Any particular industry members, band members or certain professions?

Most of this stuff may be completely destroy your budget, but I like to dream big:

*European versus American Metal - Continents at War: Open forum
*The Drumkit from Hell and the future of Metal production.
*A panel of respective Metal artists discuss Pop songs they wish they had written.
*Melissa Cross and a live Zen & The Art of Screaming event.
*Drummer showdown: Gene Hoglan takes all comers.
*A World United by Metal: Bands for countries other than those in Europe and North America play live sets.

How large of a pig do I sound like to suggest a strip poker tourney featuring the girls of Century Media?

How about:

The Future of Metal
The demise of the music business as we know it
Why we should ignore trends in Metal
and Oil Wrestling featuring the Girls of Century Media!!!

Well, it made *my* idea seem less piggish.

...Slightly.

I'd be down for that, and we could include a set by the alter egos of metal radio's big names. I'd throw down on a 1 minute, 20 second Napalm Death setlist - "Prison Without Walls," "Point of No Return," "Parasites," and "You Suffer."
