Believers In The Power of Metal

Do you think Nickleback's albums are epic, or souljaboy is a brilliant artist, well if you do, you suck and should be hit in the pouch with a large trout or buried alive under tones of whale semen. However we all have our guilty pleasures, in-terms of music. What are yours

Mine are

Panic at the Disco
Pepper
Beduin Soundclash

Reading this long thread, I'm shocked at what a lot of you consider "guilty pleasures". I guess metal elitism really is that bad. If any friends give you shit for liking Eric Clapton or Killswitch Engage, you should tell them to get a life.

You want to talk about a guilty pleasure? As in something you should be ashamed of yourself for? I anxiously await American Idol every week.

I feel like a tard listening to Killswitch, it has nothing to do with anyone else, haha.

You're not the only one, haha. I'd include them in my guilty pleasures.

I think 'guilty pleasures' is being used in it's most open manner possible.

I doubt Jonah actually feels guilty for listening to Killswitch, nor do I actaully feel guilty for listening to old school southern rock. It's just terminology, bro. :)

I love power metal, but I don't really consider that a guilty pleasure... since I feel no remorse.

Peggy ZIna (Greek pop music)
Sonique
late 50's and early 60's rock and roll.
Huey Lewis and the News

Top that.

Same reason I didn't include power metal in my list. There's nothing better than blasting Nocturnal Rites while driving down the street.
